Database Specialist | Trend Analyst Position Available

Title:               Part-Time Database Specialist | Trend Analyst (non-exempt position)
Location:         Resource Development Department
Reports to:      Senior Director of Resource Development
Hours:             20 – 25 hours | Monday – Friday

The Database Specialist | Trend Analyst’s primary responsibility is to assist the Resource Development Department by tracking the campaign progress, reporting, and analyzing trends.


  • Prepare/analyze campaign reports on a weekly basis
  • Prepare/analyze Resource Under Management (RUM) reports on a weekly basis
  • Prepare/analyze Leadership Giving reports on a weekly basis
  • Track/analyze individual giving patterns and churn
  • Complete account datasheets as organizations complete campaigns for Resource Development staff
  • Maintain database on a continual basis
  • Generate all mailing and email lists and reports as needed
  • Organize and complete annual Database 2 United Way Worldwide Report
  • Create and implement workflow processes
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge in other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong database/customer relationship management software experience preferred
  • Works well in fast-paced team environment
  • Associates Degree or related experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
