Holiday food and gift donation programs

The following local sites are offering food and gift donation programs:

Many places require pre-registration as well as proof of income eligibility. Please call the specific agency for more information.

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF LINCOLN/LANCASTER COUNTY

•        Volunteers needed for gift wrapping and food distribution

CEDARS YOUTH SERVICES

•        With input from children in the Cedars Youth Services programs, “wishes” will be placed on giving tree ornaments throughout the city. Donations are needed to help provide these “wishes” for children.
•         Volunteers are needed to adopt a child or family to provide holiday gifts

Center for People in Need

•         Giving Thanksgiving (November 17-19) – registration is required
•         Toyland for Kids (December 8-10)
•         Neighborhood food distribution – Tuesday and Friday afternoons
•         Donations of gifts for teenage children are needed before December 8 for the Toyland for Kids event
