Funding for FY 2010/2011

United Way and City/County Joint Budget Committee funding application training scheduled for Thursday, January 7 at UNL County Extension Center has been postponed. Rescheduled for Tuesday, January 12 – 7:30-9:30 AM at Center for People in Need-3901 North 27th Street.

To notify the human service agencies of Lincoln and Lancaster County that training for and release of the FY 2010/2011 United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County and the City/County Joint Budget Committee program funding application will be held Thursday, January 7, 2010, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at UNL County Extension Center, 444 Cherry Creek RD.

Attendance at training is mandatory for an agency/program wishing to apply for United Way and/or Joint Budget Committee funding. Eligible agency/programs must have 501C(3) status, be located in and provide human service programs in Lincoln and Lancaster County, have a volunteer Board of Directors, be in operation for a minimum of 24 months and have program and financial data for that time, and agree to follow United Way and JBC policies and procedures.

Program applications (an all accompanying agency financial documentation) are due to United Way, 238 South 13th Street, by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010.
