Toys for Tots serves over 600 local communities, covering all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Nationwide, Toys for Tots collects and distributes an average of 16 million toys to an average of 7 million children each year at Christmas. Last year in Nebraska, toys were distributed to over 21,000 children.
How you can help
- Donate a new unwrapped toy
- Donate your time
- Donate dollars – checks should be made out to Toys for Tots
- o All proceeds stay within Nebraska and usually in the collection area.
- o All monetary donations forwarded to Toys for Tots Foundation and spent locally for purchasing toys.
- Donate a Service Support by:
- o Placing toy collection receptacles at your place of business.
- o Sponsoring and underwriting a toy collection event.
- o Providing transportation or storage support.
- o Providing media exposure.

The following Lincoln agencies will be taking applications from families for Toys for Tots until December 5: Arnold Community Learning Center, Asian Community & Cultural Center, Belmont Community Learning Center, Center for People in Need, Clinton Community Learning Center, El Centro de las Americas, Everett Community Learning Center, Family Service Association Early Childhood Center, Holmes Community Learning Center (Family Service Association), Indian Center, Lakeview Community Learning Center (Family Service Association), McPhee Community Learning Center, Norwood Park Community Learning Center, West Lincoln Community Learning Center (Family Service Association) and Young Family’s Program (Lincoln Medical Education Partnership).
