Every year, members of United Way Women United and Emerging Leaders United make a difference for students and their families through their joint support of the ENGAGE.EMPOWER.GRADUATE. initiative. Through the seven key strategies of this breakthrough initiative, they are identifying and addressing the disadvantages that children and their families face in local elementary school communities by giving students and their families the opportunity to succeed in school and life regardless of circumstances.
