To kick off the first day of summer, five local organizations mobilized 50 team members for United Way’s Day of Action on June 20, 2025. Employees from Duncan Aviation, Schemmer, Union Bank & Trust, Zoetis as well as Black Hills Energy in partnership with IBEW Local 244 made a positive impact on the Lincoln and Lancaster County community by helping address food insecurity. Volunteers spent a total of 124 hours on a variety of projects including weeding garden beds at Community Crops and distributing meals at The Salvation Army - Lincoln.
