Meet the Team

October 23, 2023

Your partners in creating impact.

Nora recently stepped into the role of Individual and Affinity Donor Engagement Manager, bringing with her a 18 years of donor relations experience from across the country.

Nora will be working closely with United Way’s Emerging Leaders United and Women United affinity groups on their joint support of ENGAGE.EMPOWER.GRADUATE. which helps children and their families at three local elementary school communities find success regardless of their circumstances.

Additionally, she will be looking for ways to help donors connect their giving to their values to make a more meaningful philanthropic experience and a greater impact for our community.

Kristen joins the United Way team as the Community Coordinator for the Lancaster Connected Child Abuse Prevention Collaborative.

Kristen has over 20 years of experience working with families and communities. She holds a masters in counseling from Doane College. Her previous role was with the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families, and Schools supporting Institute of Education Science funded research grants.

Kristen says it is important to her that Nebraska families have equitable access to resources and services to help their children thrive.
